Privacy Policy
1. Information Collection and Use
HawkerWatch ("we," "our," or "us") operates as a secure documentation and analysis platform. We collect information you provide directly to us when you request a demo, report a concern, or utilize our platform. Because our core function is organizing sensitive evidence of unwanted contact, we employ strict data minimization practices. We only collect the data necessary to provide and secure our services.
2. Client Data and Documentation Records
Data uploaded to the platform for the purpose of incident logging (e.g., screenshots, message logs, timestamps, platform handles) remains the sole property of the client. HawkerWatch processes this data solely for organizational and pattern-matching purposes as directed by the user. We do not sell, rent, or trade this data.
3. Security and Access Controls
We implement industry-standard security protocols designed to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. Access to individual case files is strictly limited to authorized account holders and any third parties (such as legal counsel) to whom the account holder explicitly grants access via our secure sharing protocols.
4. Disclosure Restrictions
We do not publicly name individuals tracked within the system or maintain public databases of suspected abusers. We will not disclose client data to third parties without explicit client consent, except as required by valid legal process (such as a subpoena or court order). In the event of an imminent threat to physical safety, we may proactively contact emergency services.
5. Example Notice
Note: This is an illustrative privacy policy provided for demonstration purposes as part of the HawkerWatch site build.
